Overview

Safari Truck is a cultural adventure in which we take you to see the way of life of the locals aboard a comfortable 4×4 truck.

We will visit typical cocoa, coffee and tobacco farms, where we will be able to taste them and learn about the production process.

We will visit from the outside a Dominican primary school, the Basilica of Higüey, Macao Beach and a horseback ride on tropical trails.

Itinerary

7:30 to 8:30 - Pick up from hotels.

11:00 - We arrive in Higüey, where we will visit the Cathedral of La Altagracia.

12:00 - We will go to a cocoa and coffee plantation where our guide will explain us in situ the whole process of elaboration.

13:30 - Buffet lunch.

14:30 - We will visit a typical Dominican rural house and learn about the whole process of elaboration of tobacco.

15:45 - We will go to Macao Beach to enjoy a swim in its turquoise Caribbean waters.

16:30 - Return by bus to the hotel.
